The Warehouse Distribution Department is responsible for the processing of incoming and returning stock and its accurate allocation and distribution to the company stores.

The Role 

As a Warehouse Operative you'll ensure we supply our fellow colleagues with the stock they require to make us a successful team in the retail and online environment.  Accuracy and meritocracy are key KPI’s, alongside good time keeping qualities and a "can-do" attitude. 

Responsibilities 

Picking Deck

  • To accurately pick stock using our existing Warehouse Management System via voice control.  
  • Moving of pallets on the warehouse shop floor.

Use of Mechanical and Manual Handling Equipment

  • To use all equipment provided in a safe and correct manner, in accordance with  Company procedures and safety rules and instructions.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse will also be part of the daily routine.

WMS Equipment

  • To make effective use of the WMS equipment provided to ensure accurate recording of stock movements

Hygiene, Health and Safety

  • To maintain a clean, tidy and safe work environment and adhere to all Company health and safety procedures.
  • Ensure that all housekeeping requirements are being met.

Breakages

  • To transport all damaged and non-saleable cases of stock to the designated area of the warehouse.

Teamwork and Communication

  • To work effectively as a member of the Warehouse Distribution team, through effective and appropriate communication and to maintain professional work relations.
