The Role

As a Stock Operative, you will join the Majestic Wolverhampton team to help put away weekly delivieries, merchandise the stock and keep the store standards high. It is important to keep the store standards high so that the store is welcoming to customers and easily shoppable.

Alongside this you will aslo be expected to drive the company vehicle and deliver orders to retail and commercial customers. At all times you will be representing the store and the company and so delivering exceptional customer service is vital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Have a positive can do attitude and are willing to muck in and be a real team player

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Able to give great, natural customer service by proactively smiling, greeting, acknowledging and helping customers.
  • Works hard for customers, your team and your store.
  • You are able to prioritise to ensure anything you do is right for our customers.
  • Adaptable and resilient to meet the ever changing demands of our business.
  • You are reliable and a good timekeeper.
  • You must be smart and tidy at all times and work hard to keep our stores in a immaculate condition
  • Hold a full UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points and must be over the age of 20 yrs old
  • Proven working experience in a retail environment
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service focus
  • Wine knowledge is beneficial but not essential
  • Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality

Job Specifics

  • Contract: Fixed Term Contract until 24th December 2021, 4 days a week, Tuesday to Friday
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
